Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 12-15 minutes

Servings: 4

 

Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Chopped fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

 

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the salmon fillets to the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  • Pour the honey-garlic glaze over the salmon fillets.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions and serve immediately.

 

Tips:

For a crispy skin, make sure the skillet is hot before adding the salmon.

Don't overcook the salmon, or it will become dry.

Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables or rice.
