Asian-Inspired Lobster Tail with Ginger and Scallions
This dish is a delicious and elegant way to enjoy lobster tail. The Asian-inspired flavors are sure to please your taste buds.
Ingredients:
✅2 lobster tails, about 6 ounces each
✅1 tablespoon olive oil
✅ 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
✅ 2 cloves garlic, minced
✅ 1/4 cup chopped scallions
✅ 1/4 cup soy sauce
✅ 1/4 cup dry sherry
✅ 1 tablespoon honey
✅ 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. Butterfly the lobster tails by cutting them lengthwise through the shell, but not all the way through.
3. Open the shells and spread the lobster meat out flat.
4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
5. Add ginger and garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
6. Add scallions, soy sauce, sherry, honey, and sesame oil to the skillet.
7. Bring the sauce to a simmer.
8. Place lobster tails in the skillet, meat-side down.
9. Spoon some of the sauce over the lobster tails.
10. Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until lobster is cooked through.
Tips:
• For a more intense flavor, marinate the lobster tails in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
• If you don't have dry sherry, you can use white wine instead.
• Garnish with additional chopped scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
